Instructor Introduction
Miyuki is a dedicated cooking instructor and certified food coordinator. With a background in various food-related certifications, she enjoys sharing her passion for traditional Japanese cuisine (washoku) through her cooking classes, held in a welcoming studio in Shinagawa, central Tokyo. For the past seven years, she has had the pleasure of running two cooking classes—one for international participants and another for Japanese students. In addition to teaching, she is involved in recipe development, food photography, food and sake pairings, and food styling for packaging and advertisements. She also takes part in events and writing opportunities when they arise. In her personal life, Miyuki is a mother of three young children, including 2-year-old twins and a 1-year-old, and she finds joy in balancing her family responsibilities with her work.

CAN I JOIN EVEN IF I HAVE NEVER COOKED JAPANESE DISHES?
Of course you can! I will explain about Japanese cuisine, unique ingredients and cultural aspects during the class. You will be able to enjoy your food experience with deeper insight you will learn in the class.
HOW DO I BOOK A PRIVATE LESSON?
To book a private class, 2 people = price will be for 3 people, 3 people ⁼ price will be for 4 people.
CAN I CHOOSE THE MENU?
The first guest to book a particular date, has the option of choosing the menu for the class.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE MY SPECIAL DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
If you have food allergies or other restrictions, please please let me know these in the message of booking form.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Payment is fully refundable if we receive your cancellation notice at least 8 days prior to the confirmed class. If you cancel a class between 4-7 days before the lesson, 50% of the payment is refundable. Within 3 days of the class date, payment is non-refundable.
WHERE WILL WE MEET? HOW CAI GET THERE?
We will meet in front of ticket gate of Musashi koyama station(Tokyu Meguro line.) Please refer to ACCESS.
CAN CHILDREN PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASSES?
Children 7 years old and up are more than welcome in my classes, but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children 3-5 years old are half of adult prices. Children under 2 years old are for free but we can not prepare meal for baby. We have 2 chairs for children under 6 years old.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK THE CLASS ?
I recommend reserving as soon as you have your travel dates. In-person classes are only 5 guests and we have cooking class for Japanese, so availability may be limited.
